Ghosts of West Virginia mountains

Windy, and rainy day.  The towns here seem to be built on the slopes of the surrounding mountains.  The wind blows the morning mist over the top of the mountain, and the rest settles in the valleys.  From the left:

  1. New River
  2. Fayetteville, town under the bridge.
  3. New River Gorge Bridge.  Retro Steel arch bridge that looks like it was aged to look like it came from the industrial revolution.
  4. Cats and chickens living together.  What is the world coming to?

The countryside is a montage of the same things over and over again.  It makes me sleepy, so lots of rest stops.  It’s been slow tracking in this state.

Rest stops have Wi-fi, and a few available Power-outlets.  Weekdays, they aren’t so packed.
