Sedona, the unexpected

Nice tourist town here for the views of the mountains and hiking.  Not big though, but nice enough to detour through between Flagstaff and Phoenix.  Food and Lodging available, though I didnt stay overnight.  One or 2 days for hiking the streams and parks.  Then relax at the restaurants in the evening.  But if you want to enjoy the state parks, you have to purchase a Red Rock parking pass (http://www.sedona.net/parking-in-sedona).  (3/5 rating for tourists)

Att service is 4g here.

There are plenty of state parks (which take a fee) for you to hike to see the mountain landscapes.

The some parts seem dog friendly, but I read poochie is a delicacy for bobcats and coyotes.  Mmmm.  And Red Rock State Park website (https://azstateparks.com/red-rock/explore/facility-information) says no pets.  But others are ok for dogs.
